Many people consider therapy when they’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed.  I’ve engaged for over a decade with clients dealing with anxiety, symptoms of depression, addiction issues, grief, stress, and uncertainty regarding purpose, relationships, and life goals.  Working together, we develop insight into problematic behaviors, identify personal strengths, and find ways to implement healthier coping strategies, all for the purpose of making change seem possible.  My approach is to meet clients where they are in a safe, non-judgmental space, using techniques associated with CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.  We move at the Client’s pace, assessing the level of progress and setting additional goals as appropriate.  I am currently offering teletherapy appointments for Clients living in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
